What to do this last weekend in September in Ashland and Bayfield Wisconsin: Red Clay Classic and Apple Picking

September, where have you gone?

I don’t know about you, but where the heck has September gone? With the start of school and the fall rental season in full swing, September did not provide much of a rest from the busy summer. But that’s ok. We love our guests and it has been fun to see our typical renters switch form families with kids to adults with their fur babies.

So here are a few things to do this last week in September:

ABC Raceway’s Annual Red Clay Classic

ABC Raceway’s Red Clay Classic is Friday and Saturday night. This last race of the season features WISSOTA-sanctioned stock car racing and is always a fun event for the whole family.  For details on pricing and race times visit the ABC Raceway website.

Apples are in season in Bayfield! Head on up to the orchards before the crowds arrive for Apple Fest next weekend. Here are two you won’t want to miss.

Wishing you all a wonderful last weekend of September. Here’s to fall leaves, cool crisp air, and hot cocoa around a relaxing campfire.
